2. The Night Is No More

Silence and coldness return
Numbing me down
Soaring embers glow in the air
Fire goes out as I watch the morning dawn

I turn my gaze up to the sky
The silence remains
I hear the sky's melodies
As soon as I see the first ray of the sun

Approaching light broke the horizon
I watch the sky turn blue
And when the mind clears from the thoughts
The silence fades
And I breathe just to feel alive

The darkness retreats into the shadows
Where it has always belonged
Nature comes back to life
And so does my soul

As the world unfolds from the dark
Shaking off yesterday's despair
Scattered light shines through the branches
The darkness fled and the night is no more

Made of green-covered branches

A heaven dressed in shades of green
Right before my eyes

A place long-forgotten
Where all begins and ends

4. Rebirth

I came back to a withered meadow
Of all the events of a life
I came back just to see
How it will bloom again

As the rising sun unfolds the Earth
Covered in snow
With the first blooming flower
Everything sets in motion

Awakened by a calm breeze

A journey without an end
Following a dim spark of hope

He goes along with the wind

As he wanders the Earth
Sailing across the sky
An infinite search for the truth
Which man craves to find

Years and years of longing
Of finding a safer place
He felt that something was calling
Through mountains, forests and seas

He walked a thousand miles
To find a safer place
Where all sets in order
And one will be blessed with grace

As soon as he reached the top
The winds became silent
The echo of his heartbeat
Could be heard in the mountains

As soon as the sun came up on the horizon
The tears fell down from the wanderer's eyes
As he realized with grief
That he is all alone in this world


6. Scattered Ashes

The great ascension from the darkness
The time will pay the price
And it took so much just to see a glimpse of light
Without a sign you found your way forward

Scatter the ashes of life

To rise again like a phoenix

The ending of a season
Just another chapter of life
