The title says it already: this new, third album marks another step in the evolution of DARKSIDE. Still 
holding on to the more atmospheric and melodic type thrashy death metal they started with on the 
Melancholia Of A Dying World debut album, the band has been fine-tuning and developing their own sound. 
On this album, which again opens with a great intro, the band seems to have become tighter and heavier 
than before, and they also resorted to using a wider variety keyboard sounds to add a more dark and 
mystic sphere to the music. After the aforementioned debut and its follow-up, Shadowfields, this is 
another strong effort from these Austrian metallers.
